The city of Sandusky, in coordination with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), is planning roadway improvements along the Cleveland Rd (US 6) corridor. Improvements will address increasing congestion and mobility issues, as well as escalating crash rates. The project is tentatively scheduled to be constructed beginning in the 2024 construction season.

To ensure the proposed project is viable and successful, we are asking all those interested to attend and participate in an open house on Thursday, June 16 from 2:00-3:30 p.m. at the City Commission Chambers (1st Floor) located at 240 Columbus Avenue. If you are unable to attend the open house, we ask that you take some time to visit the following website (structurepointpublic.com/ClevelandRoadImprovements) to review the project information, potential impacts, and submit your questions or comments.

Anyone needing special meeting assistance should call (419) 627-5875 by June 6th, 2022. All meeting materials will be available on the website for 30 days. Meeting materials and comment forms will also be available for viewing at the following locations: https://www.cityofsandusky.com/departments/construction_service_updates.php

We ask that all questions and comments be submitted no later than July 15, 2022 by email, phone, or mail at the contact information below.
