The Erie County Solid Waste District offers several locations for disposal of glass, plastic, aluminum and paper products.

The City of Sandusky will offer a free Tire Collection Recycling event on Saturday, May 1, 2010 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Residents must show proof of residency (Driver's License) and bring their tires to the parking lot at City Hall, 222 Meigs Street, Sandusky. Tractor tires are excluded due to capacity limitations and rims must be removed from tires. The City of Sandusky offers brush and yard waste collection for its
residents at a great bargain price! For just $7 per month, your yard waste can be collected weekly at the curb in front of your home and the charges can be added directly to your
monthly water bill (or annually at $63/yr.). The contract period is April - December each year.
The City of Sandusky offers two free Yard Waste Drop-offs at
Barnes Yard Waste Recovery [Disclaimer] each Spring and Fall season. |
