The Department of Administrative Services is responsible for the Divisions of Personnel Management and Information Technology. The employees in this Department support and reinforce operations from all of the departments and divisions in the City.
In support of the City of Sandusky’s vision and mission, it is the Division of Administrative Services goal to support the total operation in meeting its goals through its most valuable resource – its PEOPLE – in order to develop the City of Sandusky as an employer of CHOICE.
It is our mission to develop an attitude of teamwork and quality in our day to day operations; to increase participation in City activities while seeking knowledge, enthusiasm, and an improved quality of life for ourselves, co-workers and the community; respect values which may be different from our own; and, communicate in an honest and fair manner with the employees from whom the City derives its strength.
